Faux leather and faux suede have been everywhere this year, and I’m SO here for it! I’ve loved faux leather for a long time and owned several faux leather pieces over the years, but I love seeing so many more faux leather pant, skirt, and dress options this year! I think it’s such a chic way to elevate your look.
If you’re back in the office, a faux leather pencil skirt is a great option to go beyond your typical pants or black pencil skirt. The faux leather skirt I wore in this post would also be a great option! For this outfit, I really wanted the skirt to be the hero of the outfit, so everything else was meant to complement it. I paired it with a white ribbed turtleneck sweater and a pair of leopard heels that pulled out both the white of the sweater and the deep brown/fig color of the skirt.
The best part about this skirt (besides the fact that it’s faux leather) is that it’s also super comfy! There isn’t a defined waistband on it, so it isn’t tight. I probably could have actually sized down and still been fine. You can tie the bow tighter to get a slightly tighter fit as well, but the skirt isn’t a true wrap skirt, so there’s a zipper in the back. It’s perfect if you’re sitting all day at the office (or at home if you feel like getting fancy for your Zoom calls!) because it won’t dig in if you ate too much for lunch. Fashion and comfort mean a win-win in my book!
